Course of West Virginia City programme with accommodation
Riding horse like the Wild West? Living like the Wild West? You can find such adventure in Turkey. You will spend your holiday in an authentic Wild West city where mountains are so close that you can touch them and sea is within the range of vision. Of course you don’t needd to be a Wild West horse rider. A separate programme for children is available. It would be better for the singles, who want to meet new people, to view participation plan. Rooms are country type rooms which have private bathroom. They have partially air conditioner and sea view.
Day 1: Depending upon the arrival time, a short exploration tour through sheep herds and a canyon where many small waterfalls flow according to the present season. Resting on the seaside and a Wild Western welcome party in the evening.
Day 2: We will ride our horses to a rocky plateau which is surrounded by mountains and has sea view through olive grove. We will have a break in a village and store energy by drinking and eating ayran (diluted salted yoghurt drink) and flat bread. By the way, it is possible to learn how to haggle about the prices in an oriental bazaar in the afternoon by taking advantage of the opportunity.
Day 3: We ride our horses through the canyon and reach to Manavgat Dam Kale which has crystal clear water. We give a break in order to swim there, and then we ride our horses at full gallop toward mountains. Towards a view which has an antique story. This is a magnificent holiday picture with background of dam lake.
Day 4: We will move ahead till Manavgat Falls passing through the villages in our day-trip. After we take a breath at the watercourse, we will ride our horses along the watercourse and pass by a farm where race horses are breed and trained. Following this, we ride our horses at full gallop over the hills. We get rest in front of the camp fire and watch the magnificent view of millions of stars.
Day 5: We spend our time on the beach in the forenoon. After that we pass through the pinewood with our horses and reach a valley with orange trees and peanut fields. As we have a group of hound dogs accompanying us, it will not be surprising to run across a wild rabbit.
Day 6: We move along the paths of ancient caravansaries, and feel like time has stopped. Some of us have the opportunity to test ambler horses. It’s a great event. After that you don’t want to ride another horse anymore.
Day 7: We drive to a heritage site by car and visit a stalactite cave or wild horses cave (only available in April, May, June, July, September and October). The ones who still have energy to do something may take a night tour with their horses.
